Alan K. Conant, age 60, passed away on Monday, December 13, 2021 in Kennewick, WA. Alan was born in Prosser, WA on October 25, 1961, the son of Marlene (Bolinger) and James E. Conant. He attended grade school through high school in Grandview, WA where he also participated in football and wrestling. Alan loved dirt bike riding and racing with his best friend Steve Kollmar. Spending a lot of time at the old Mabton racetrack. Following high school and while working for Shonan, Inc. Alan fell ill which required a heart transplant in 1995 at the University of Washington Medicine in Seattle, WA. In the years that followed, Alan was plagued with numerous medical conditions which he faced with remarkable strength and with a will to never give up. He met the love of his life Kim Perard while living in Grandview and they have enjoyed a loving relationship for over 20 years. Alan was raised in a Christian environment (which he was forever grateful to his mom). He was a strong believer in God and was a baptized member of the Church of Christ in Grandview. Alan played darts on the Blue Moon Tavern team for several years with his brother Jim, traveling to tournaments and occasionally winning. He enjoyed fishing and hunting but loved watching NASCAR races and motocross with brothers Jim and Shawn. Alan is preceded in death by his father, James E. Conant and his stepfather Maurice Gill. He is survived by his mother, Marlene Conant Gill, sisters Renee Davis (Mark), Mary Lynne Williams (Joe), brothers Jim and Shawn Conant, and companion Kim Perard.
