Up until a few months ago his illness forced him to come back to Sunnyside to be with his kids. Dad loved dancing to tejano music , he would tell us how no one could out dance him and his favorite cousin Ramiro. His favorite pass time was watching baseball ( Houston Astros) and Mariners)and as for  Football he was a true fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Seahawks. Alfredo is preceded in death by his parents , his brothers , and two grandsons Nicholas Alfredo Marez and Ramon Verduzco.

Dad will be greatly missed, his laughter, jokes and quick Whitt. He was a smart and very loving father, always remembering our birthdays , he was very faithful and dedicated to the basilica of our lady of San Juan in Texas. He would always go turn on a candle and deeply pray for all his loved ones and to those close to us that needed a miracle. He had unconditional love for his kids. Thank you Sunnyside Astria Health, you did an amazing job taking care of our dad. To the Astria nurses thank you all so much you are all the absolute BEST. , I know he promised you all to show you how to dance but he'll have to take a rain check .
