Alma Delia (Miranda) Serrato, 41 of Mabton Washington, passed away peacefully on April 24,2026, in Mabton Washington, surrounded by her family. She was born November 13, 1984 in Santiago Azajo, Mexico to Maria and Jesus (Serrato) Lopez.
She married Miguel Angel Miranda Bentiz in 2007, and together they raised 3 children. Alma spent many years working in the area, in agriculture and field work such as the Olsen brothers farm and recently retired from agriculture in 2025.
Alma was known for her strong work ethic, keeping a tidy home, and always staying busy—often cleaning or pulling weeds in the yard. She loved spending time with her family .
Alma is survived by her husband: Miguel Miranda and her child: Kevin Miranda; Fernando Miranda; and Kimberly Miranda as well as her brother in law: Juan Miranda
Viewing and visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 P.m. with recitation of the holy rosary (in spanish) at 6:00 P.M. at the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, WA. Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. at the Mabton - Immaculate Conception Parish, Mabton WA. Burial will be at the Mabton Cemetery in Mabton WA. on Wednesday right after the mass church in Mabton WA on April 29, 2026.
