Alyssa Rachelle (Brooks) Moore was born March 9, 2003 to Avery Brooks & Misty Knox in Sunnyside WA. At a young age Alyssa and two of her sisters went to live with their grandparents Bill & Rachel and quickly developed an unbreakable bond with her grandpa. She was well known as “grandpa’s girl”. Alyssa was tragically taken from us to be with her Lord and Savior on September 22, 2021 at the young age of 18.
Alyssa attended school in her hometown of Grandview WA. As a child she attended Grandview Christian Church and developed a close bond with her youth pastor John Fannin. She had a love for the Lord and a tender heart, always putting others needs before her own. She was always the peace maker, counselor and advisor to her younger sisters and cousins.
Alyssa had a passion for writing and performing her own rap music. Music was her happy place. At a young age Alyssa was very inspired by her cousin Chad Turley (AKA CAT), who had started releasing Christian Rap. She loved to brag to her friends how he was her cousin as she played his CDs for them.
