Amy Marie Moreno

Mom you, Amy Marie Moreno gave me life on September 9, 2020 Anissa Marie Moreno and we, laughed, loved and cuddled each other until you were taken away on September 14, 2020. Only God has the answers to help us understand and give us peace.  Until we meet in Heaven, I will listen to all the memories that your family and friends will share with me.  My mom was born on November 25, 1983 in Toppenish, Washington the daughter of Rosa (Ruiz) and Danny Manuel Moreno. Amy received her education in Grandview, WA and graduated with the Class of 2002. Following graduation Amy worked for Diary Queen, Garcia Family Restaurant, Sunnyside Hospital, Sunnyside and Grandview Safeway’s in the Pharmacy Department.  Amy enjoyed her family, laughter, music, singing and dancing which was a huge part of Amy’s life. She had a nickname for each family member and friend and Amy’s nickname from her family was “Mona”. Amy had love for everyone.  Every family gathering was a special event, from a barbeque, birthday, Thanksgiving to Christmas each was cherished and filled with memories. Mona will be missed by all.

Amy is survived by her infant daughter, Anissa Marie Moreno. Parents, Rosa Sehnert (Jeff)  and Danny Moreno (Melanie), brothers Danny Moreno Jr. (Yuri) and Brandon Sehnert, sister Ashlyn Sehnert.  She is also survived by her grandmothers, Theresa Moreno and Cande Ruiz, special friend Erica Gomez, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her grandfather Manuel Tellez. 

Celebration of life service will be held with a Rosary to be recited on Friday, September 25, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, WA. Inurnment will follow at the Lower Valley Memorial Gardens in Sunnyside, WA.
