Antonio Prieto Obituary

Antonio C. Prieto, age 78, longtime Grandview resident went to be in the arms of his Heavenly Father on Sunday, October 24, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.  Antonio was born on June 19, 1943 in Guanajuato, Mexico the son of Susana Ramirez (Cabrera) and Bonifacio Delgado Prieto. Antonio was a hard-working man and worked for various farmers throughout the Yakima Valley. He also enjoyed watching soccer and raised a variety of animals over the years.

He is survived by his loving wife, Aurora Campos Prieto, nine children: Soledad Morales, Petra Morales, Antonio Prieto, Raul Prieto, Eduardo Prieto, Jaime Prieto, Jesus Prieto, Javier Prieto and Maribel Prieto. He is also survived by thirty-six grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren. He his preceded in death by his parents and one son Miguel Prieto.

Viewing and visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home in Sunnyside, WA.  Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at 12:30 p.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Sunnyside, WA.  Burial will follow at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens, Sunnyside, WA. Those wishing to sign Antonio's online memorial book may do so at www.funeralhomesmith.com Smith Funeral Home is in care of arrangements.
