Apolinar Garcia Obituary

Apolinar Garcia age 70 of Sunnyside, WA passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024 in Sunnyside, WA. Apolinar was born February 26, 1954 in El Izote, Mexico the son of Juan Hernandez Garcia and Elvira Ayala Garcia.  He received his early education in Mexico. In June of 1976 he married Amparo Almaguer in Sunnyside, WA. Apolinar worked as a butcher for Washington Beef. He loved the outdoors, traveling and visiting with family. Apolinar was a member of the Jesucristo el Buen Pastor Church in Zillah, WA.

Apolinar is survived by his children Apolinar Garcia Jr.”Chano” (Maricela) of Outlook, WA, Amparo Garcia “Nana” (Michael) of Sunnyside, WA, , ex-wife Amparo Almaguer  and four grandchildren Valeria Cortez, Sinay Garcia, Daniella Garcia and Arianah Garcia.  He is also survived by his siblings Jose Garcia, Juan Garcia, Maria Almaguer, Moses Garcia and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Juan and Elvira Garcia and one brother Jesus Garcia

Viewing and Visitation will be Thursday, December 19, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sunnyside, WA.  Funeral Services will be Friday, December 20, 2024 at 11:00am at House of Grace Church 901 S. 7th St. Yakima, WA. 98901. Burial will follow at Terrace Heights Memorial Park in Yakima, WA.
