Barbara Jean Bishop, age 89, went to be in the arms of her loving Savior on Saturday, January 16, 2021. Barbara was born on March 22, 1931 in Maltby, WA the daughter of Beulah May (Eastman) and Jons Oscar Johnson. She graduated from Snohomish High School with the Class of 1949. In 1949 she married Leonard H. Green. Later in life she met Loren Bishop and they were married on July 12, 1973 at Lake Tahoe. Barbara was gifted with many talents, bookkeeper, office manager, over the road truck driver, a published author and lecture. She also enjoyed gardening and landscaping.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Loren Bishop of Sunnyside, WA. Daughter Dixie Miles, grandchildren Peregrine Miles (Bailee) and Branwyn Mansford (George) all of Aberdeen, WA., Sarah Noel Estes (Douglas) of Columbia, SC, Erin Green, Neal Green both of Warm Beach, WA and Katterin Spurling (Tim) of Everett, WA. She is also survived by great grandchildren, Phaedra Miles, Ben Mansford both of Aberdeen, WA, Hudson Spurling and Charlie Spurling both of Everett, WA, Wyatt Estes, Bridget Estes, Violet Estes, Everett Estes, daughter-in-law Diane Cook all of Columbia, S.C., daughter-in-law Denise Green of Warm Beach, WA, siblings Eliot Johnson and Richard Johnson.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Beulah and Jons Oscar Johnson, son Leonard W. Green 2018, 1st husband Leonard H. Green, one grandson Damien C. Miles, two sisters Audrey and Viola, two brothers Warren and Laverne.
