Barbara Jean Roach, 66, with her family by her side, peacefully passed away Saturday June 11th, 2022 at her home. She was the Widow of Sidney Lee Roach, married April 24th 1976 and shared 46 lovingly devoted years.
She was born in Prosser Washington February 4th 1956, and raised in Grandview where she attended school until her graduation in 1974. She primarily worked retail from Bonanza 88/Yellow Front through the years to Corral West until She and family moved to the Washington Coast near Ocean Shores in 1996. While living on the coast she applied her knowledge of retail into managing both, Too Cool Sportswear and The Beach Hut clothing stores. Returning to Eastern Washington with her family she again used her knowledge of retail, and pleasant personality as a Sales Associate at MACY’S in Kennewick earning numerous awards for her customer service. Upon her retirement in 2011, she happily accepted the role of Full Time Live In Grandmother.
Her favorite pastimes included: “Grandma Duties”, Scrapbooking, Census and Genealogy Research, Coastal Trips and Beach Combing, Gardening, and over all Being with Her Family. She will always be remembered for her warm smile, genuine personality, and fondly telling stories of her coastal adventures and of her grandchildren.
She is survived by her Children: James (Jennifer) Roach, Daniel (Misti) Roach, Tami (Jason) Pulfer, Eight grandchildren, Four great grandchildren, and her Sister Sherry Sandoval. She is predeceased by her loving husband Sidney Lee Roach.
