Belen Mendoza-Cervantes

Belen Mendoza, age 57, beloved mother and sister in Christ, passed away on April 30, 2018, surrounded by her family. Belen was bien on September 10, 1960 in Tlacaquipa, Guerrero, México the daughter of Alejandro and Flora Cervantes. Belen was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed serving God and others, cooking and encouraging her family.

Belem is survived by her husband Telesforo Mendoza, children, Liduvina Mendoza, Moises (Edith) Mendoza, Miguel Mendoza, Elizabeth Mendoza, Rosio (Juan Carlos) Vázquez, and her mother Flora Orduño Ochoa. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and her brothers Nau Cervantes, Jesus Cervantes, and Urbano Cervantes. She preceded Im death by her father Alejandro Cervantes Salgado, her grandchildren, Noemi Mendoza Guadarrama and Anahí Mendoza Guadarrama and her great grandchild Ethan Noble Mendoza.    

Viewing and visitation will be held on Friday, May 4, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, WA and Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, WA.  Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery, Toppenish, WA under the direction of the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, WA. Those wishing to sign Belen's online memorial book may do so at www.funeralhomesmith.com  Smith Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
