Betty L. Fisher, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2026, in Seattle, Washington. Born on January 17, 1936, in La Junta, Colorado, she was a guiding light in the lives of all who knew her, emanating love and warmth throughout her remarkable journey.
Betty is survived by her devoted son, Mike Fisher; her loving daughters, Debi Zwicker, Tammy (Ed) Fisher, and Janet (Ken) Shelton; her caring brothers, Larry (Phyllis) Wheeler and Darrell (Kathy) Wheeler; as well as her ten grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren, all of whom were the joy of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Ruth Wheeler; her brother, Mark Wheeler; and her beloved granddaughter, Saige Shelton.
Known for her immeasurable love for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, her heart overflowed with affection. She enjoyed every moment spent with her family, and her laughter and kindness will be deeply missed. She had a profound appreciation for reading, flowers, and the beauty of the ocean, which provided her with peace and inspiration throughout her life. As a woman of faith, her Christian values were a cornerstone of her life, shaping the way she cared for those around her. She touched many lives with her gentle spirit and unwavering support.
A memorial service to honor Betty's remarkable life is tentatively scheduled for June 20, 2026, at the home of Debi Zwicker.
