It is with profound sadness and deep gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Beatris Perez, who left this world peacefully on November 18, 2025. Beatris was born on February 17, 1933, in San Antonio, Texas, and her journey through life was marked by boundless love, generosity, and an unwavering commitment to her family and faith.
Beatris’s legacy lives on through her devoted children: Ramona Fonseca, Diana Allen, Pedro Perez, Pauline Miranda, Marylou Farias, and Eduardo Perez. She was the PROUD grandmother and great-grandmother to a large and loving family, each touched by her warmth and wisdom. Her surviving siblings include Elsie Vargas, Mary Phelan, Joe (Chepo) Pina Jr, Marvin Pina Sr, and Urbano (Urbie) Pina. Beatris’s household was always full of laughter, stories, and the comforting presence of family.
Beatris was welcomed home by those who went before her: her beloved parents, Jose Pina Sr and Guadalupe Felan Pina; sisters Simona Camacho and Josie Pina; brothers Bernardo (Benny) Pina, Pete Pina, Sisto (Charlie) Pina, and Rudy Pina; and her cherished daughter Rosie Perez. Their memories remain alive in the hearts of all who loved her.
A devoted member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Sunnyside, Washington, Beatris found great comfort and purpose in her faith community. Her gentle spirit and willingness to help others made her a cherished friend and neighbor, always present at church gatherings and community events.
Beatris was the heartbeat of her family—hosting gatherings that became legendary for their warmth, delicious food, and laughter. Her home was a haven for all, a place where everyone felt valued and loved. She was known for her welcoming nature, radiant smile, and a delightful sense of humor that uplifted those around her. As the family monarch, she guided with kindness, wisdom, and a deep sense of responsibility, leaving a powerful example for generations to follow.
Beatris Perez’s legacy is one of love, resilience, and joy. Her presence will be deeply missed but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. Family and friends are invited to remember Beatris by continuing her traditions of togetherness, laughter, and unwavering support for one another. May her memory be a blessing and her life a guiding light for all.
