Billie Joe Myers passed away Sunday January 19, 2025 from complications of pneumonia at Sunnyside Astria Hospital in Sunnyside, WA. He was 61 years old. He was born at Sunnyside General Hospital September 30, 1963 to Paul E. Myers and Monnie Lee Myers (Moser).
Billie was preceded in death by both his mother and father and is survived by his older brother Edward Myers of Grandview, WA, younger brothers Jason Lyczewski of Sunnyside, WA, Jeremy Lyczewski of Gilbert, AZ and Mathew Menshew of Pasco, WA. He is also survived by two younger sisters, Misty McAdams of Airway Heights, WA and Amanda Moser of Yakima, WA. Billie is survived by two daughters, Fawn Larionoff of Kodiak, AK and Colleen K. of ND.
Billie grew up in Sunnyside, WA, moving to Outlook, WA and graduated from Sunnyside High School in 1983. He went into the Army and after the Army he worked locally and then moved to Kodiak Alaska where he became a fisherman, fishing for salmon and crabbing in the Berring Sea. He loved adventure and living on the edge. He was a very brave man who loved the Lord Jesus Christ.
He spent his last year in Grandview Washington with his brother Ed and his family. Spending time with his niece Deborah and nephew Sam was a favorite of his. He always had a good joke to tell and loved bringing cheer into the conversation.
He will be greatly missed but is in a far better place.
Viewing and visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, WA. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025 at 1:00 pm at the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, WA with burial to follow at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens.
