Bobby Ray Garcia, age 19 of Grandview, WA, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday June 2, 2021, in Colfax WA. Bobby Ray was born on March 28, 2002, in Sunnyside WA, to Vickie Lee Garcia. He received his education in Sunnyside, WA and was supposed to graduate with the class of 2021. Bobby Ray worked for Bob’s Drive-In Sunnyside, WA., Washington Beef in Toppenish, WA and then went on to work in construction.
Bobby Ray was such a loving young man. He had his whole life planned out and he was only 19 years old. His girlfriend soon to be fiancé Aracely and Bobby Ray were expecting their first child together. He was so excited to be a father especially since it’s a boy. Baby Ali Ray Garcia will be born in September. Bobby Ray always put his family first. Bobby Ray purchased a fishing pole and guitar earlier this year and was so excited to go fishing with his Grandpa Mike & to start practicing how to play his favorite songs. He took on cooking as well and learned from the best his uncle Juan “Bunny” Uribe. He will hold a special place in his favorite aunt’s heart Diane Uribe. He had a special bond with his brother Jay. Bobby Ray was definitely the man of the house and was the glue that kept his family together. He was his mom’s rock. He cared for Zitlali like she was his own daughter. He always had a listening ear and would tell you how it was with positive words.
Bobby Ray is survived by his mom Vickie Lee Garcia, Brother Jay Garcia of Grandview, WA. Sister, Angelique Jacome of San Francisco, CA. Girlfriend soon to be fiancé Aracely Vargas and daughter Zitlali of Grandview, WA. Grandpa Mike Garcia of Sunnyside, WA. Grandma Peggy (Wayne) Coronado of Yakima, WA. Aunts Christina Garcia, Ally Garcia of Sunnyside, WA. Uncles, Mark (Dianna) Garcia of Prosser, WA. Micheal Garcia of Sunnyside, WA. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins & friends.
Bobby Ray is proceeded in death by his Great grandparents Raul and Juanita Garcia. Great Grandpa Coronado. Cousins Gabriela C Garcia, Gabriella L Cantú. He left this earth with his best friend, cousin, Elijah Hernandez and who was going to be the God father of his son.
Viewing and visitation will be held on Sunday, June 13, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, WA. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 14, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, WA. Burial to follow at the Lower Valley Memorial Gardens, Sunnyside, WA.
