Bonita Slavens Obituary

Bonita Lynn Slavens, age 63 passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at her home following a extended illness. Bonita was born on April 6, 1960 in Seattle, WA. She later moved to the Sunnyside area where she graduated from Sunnyside High School with the Class of 1979. On June 27, 1981 she married Larry Slavens in Sunnyside, WA. Bonita work for the Sunnyside School District for 28 years as a custodian until due to her failing health was forced to retire in January of 2023.

Bonita is survived by her husband, Larry Slavens of Benton City, WA. Three sons John Slavens (Michelle), David Slavens (Morgan), James Slavens (Hillary) and seven grandchildren, Alina, Ronan, Nathanial, Noriah, Ian, Cian, Mealla.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
