Brian Rae Traversie passed away on May 31, 2025 in his home surrounded by family and friends.
He graduated from Grandview High School in 1978 and continued to live in Grandview working for Twin City Foods for several years. He started at Central Pre-Mix in 1997 where he retired from in May 2021.
Brian’s engaging and positive personality was reflected in every aspect of his life as he thoroughly enjoyed hiking, fishing, biking, gardening. Brian shared his bountiful garden with co-workers and friends and always made time to spend with family and a close circle of friends. He enjoyed doing all these activities with the people he loved. He hosted many family events at his home, and we all enjoyed endless hot dog roasts, the perfect fun event for the family.
Brian’s life was a gift to everyone who knew him. We welcome friends and family to join us in remembrance, and gratitude for the time we shared with him. We’ll gather to share stories, memories and the love he so freely gave.
He is lovingly remembered by his son, Zack (Renee) Traversie and 2 grandchildren, his parents Krohn and Shirley Traversie, his sisters Cindy Fisher, Celeste (Greg) Key, Dana (Mat) Riste as well as nieces and nephews.
