Carlos Verduzco Obituary

Carlos Verduzco, 72 years of age, passed on Saturday, January 9th at Kadlec Hospital in Richland, WA. Carlos was born on January 11, 1948 in Coalcoman, Michoacan Mexico to Fermin Verduzco and Agapita Alvarez. He was 1 of 7 children, Guadalupe Verduzco, Eladio Verduzco, Consuelo Verduzco, Emilia Verduzco, Jose Verduzco and Aguroa Verduzco.  At the age of 21, he moved to Washington state where he made Grandview his home for more than 40 years.  Carlos is survived by his living Companion Guadalupe Salas Gomez, his 4 children, Arturo Verduzco, Jaime Verduzco, Verta Verduzco and Carlos Verduzco Jr and his 13 grandchildren. Carlos worked in agriculture most of his life and had the blessing to own his own farm where he could continue doing what he loved, working. Carlos was a very social person with a laundry list of family and friends.  He didn’t need a reason to throw a party and everyone was always welcomed. 

His family thanks everyone who was a part of his life.  He will be missed.

Viewing and visitation will be held at the family home on Thursday, January 14, 2021 from 11:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m. for  those concerned with Covid exposure. Public viewing will begin at 3:00 p.m.to 9:00 p.m.  Graveside service will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Grandview Cemetery.  Those wishing to sign Carlos's online memorial book may do so at www.funeralhomesmith.com Smith Funeral Home is in care of arrangements.

 

Carlos Verduzco, de 72 años, falleció el sábado 9 de enero en el Hospital Kadlec en Richland, WA.

Carlos nació el 11 de enero de 1948 en Coalcomán, Michoacán México de Fermín Verduzco y Agapita Alvarez.  Fue 1 de 7 hijos, Guadalupe Verduzco, Eladio Verduzco, Consuelo Verduzco, Emilia Verduzco, Jose Verduzco y Aguroa Verduzco.  A la edad de 21 años, se mudó al estado de Washington, donde hizo de Grandview su hogar durante más de 40 años.

A Carlos le sobreviven su companera de vida Guadalupe Salas Gomezsus, sus 4 hijos Arturo Verduzco, Jaime Verduzco, Verta Verduzco y Carlos Verduzco Jr. y 13 nietos.

Carlos trabajó en la agricultura la mayor parte de su vida y tuvo la bendición de ser dueño de su propio rancho donde podía continuar haciendo lo que amaba, trabajar.

Carlos era una persona muy sociable con una larga lista de familiars y amigos. No necesitaba un motivo para organizar una fiesta y todos eran siempre bienvenidos.

Su familia agradece a todos los que fueron parte de su vida. Él será extrañado.
