Cindy Marie LaPierre Chester, 63, of Grandview, Washington, passed away on May 5, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born to Gary and Beverly LaPierre, Cindy grew up in Sunnyside, Washington, and later spent time living in Minnesota before returning to her home state. She will be remembered for her warm heart, her love of movies, and her joyful spirit in sharing laughter through funny videos. A devoted mother and grandmother, Cindy loved her children deeply and unconditionally. She was also a huge Elvis Presley fan and could often be found listening to his music or sharing her favorite songs with others.

Cindy is survived by her husband, Mike Chester; her son, Jesse Scott Hays Espinoza and grandson Jesse Espinoza; her daughter, Shelby Hays Glessing and son-in-law Sean Glessing of Cokato, Minnesota; her step-son, Michael Lynn Chester; and her siblings Kenneth (Kristi) LaPierre, Shane (Celine) LaPierre, Gary (Amy) LaPierre, and Tammy LaPierre. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gary and Beverly LaPierre, and her brother, Peter.

A graveside service will be held in her honor at the Mabton Cemetery on Friday, May 30, at 12:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate Cindy's life and memory.
