It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Cristian Godinez, a beloved son, brother, fiancé, father, stepfather, and talented barber. Cristian was born on July 27, 1993, and passed away on June 19, 2024, at the age of 30.

Cristian was the cherished son of Maria Del Rosario Godinez and the loving brother of Lilibeth Godinez. He was engaged to Maria Jose Silva, with whom he shared a beautiful life. Together, they are the proud parents of their precious son, Cristian Pablo Godinez Silva, who is just 1 year and 4 months old. Cristian was also a loving stepfather to Nicole Silva, whom he cared for deeply.

Cristian will be remembered for his respectful, kind, and funny nature. He brought joy and laughter to those around him and was a source of strength and support for his family and friends. As a barber, he had a unique talent for making people look and feel their best. His presence in our lives was a blessing, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A viewing and visitation to honor Cristian's life will be held on July 1st from 4-8 pm with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 pm at Grandview Smith Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Grandview on July 2nd at 10 am, followed by the burial at Prosser Cemetery. Con profunda tristeza anunciamos el fallecimiento de Cristian Godinez, un querido hijo, hermano, prometido, padre, padrastro y talentoso barbero. Cristian nació el 27 de julio de 1993 y falleció el 19 de junio de 2024, a la edad de 30 años.

Cristian fue el querido hijo de Maria Del Rosario Godinez y el amado hermano de Lilibeth Godinez. Estaba comprometido con Maria Jose Silva, con quien compartió una vida hermosa. Juntos, son los orgullosos padres de su precioso hijo, Cristian Pablo Godinez Silva, que tiene solo 1 año y 4 meses. Cristian también fue un amoroso padrastro para Nicole Silva, a quien cuidaba profundamente.

Cristian será recordado por su naturaleza respetuosa, amable y divertida. Trajo alegría y risas a quienes lo rodeaban y fue una fuente de fortaleza y apoyo para su familia y amigos. Como barbero, tenía un talento único para hacer que las personas se vean y se sientan lo mejor posible. Su presencia en nuestras vidas fue una bendición, y será profundamente extrañado por todos los que lo conocieron y amaron.

La velacion para honrar la vida de Cristian se llevará a cabo el 1 de julio de 4 a 8 pm en el Smith Funeral Home de Grandview y una misa en la iglesia Catholica de Grandview sera el 2 de julio a las 10 am, seguida del entierro en el Cementerio de Prosser.
