Dale Kenneth Liefke, 78, was born in Sunnyside, WA to Kenneth and Mildred Liefke. He was raised in Grandview, WA with three younger siblings; Dennis, Sandra, and Connie. They grew up on a farm where they helped their Father and Mother. When Dale grew older, he moved his family out near the farm so he could be closer to family and help on the farm. He would hop on his motorcycle to go and help with irrigation, smudging, bucking hay, and any tractor work that was needed. He enjoyed helping out on the family farm.
Dale worked at the Seneca plant, in Prosser, for years before eventually starting a trucking company with his friend, Jerry Pace. He really enjoyed and took pride in his work and how to transport and coordinate the trucking deliveries and business side of running your own company.
Dale enjoyed spending time at the family cabin on Rimrock Lake where he would take his boys fishing on the boat, and go skiing at White Pass in the winter. He enjoyed watching his boys and grandkids with their sporting events. He rarely missed a game or meet and was their biggest fan!
In his leisure time, he enjoyed being in his swimming pool, cruising around in his 1970 Dodge Challenger, mowing the grass, going on cruises, collecting coins, and watching old Star Trek episodes and CSI shows. He also enjoyed his regular "Dad Naps!"
Dale was preceded in death by his father Kenneth, and younger brother Dennis.
He is survived by his mother Mildred, 101 years young. Two sisters, Sandy Thomas, and Connie (Greg) Wetzel. His two sons, Joel (Lisa) Liefke, and Dustin (Tomi) Liefke. Three grandchildren Cooper, Sailor, and Dixie. Many cousins, nieces, and nephews as well.
