Our beloved brother, Daniel Campos, went to be with the Lord, Friday, April 19, 2019.Daniel was born Sept. 28, 1968 in Toppenish, WA the son of Samuel and Ramona (Santos) Campos. He was the fifth of eight children. Daniel worked as a chef at various restaurants throughout the valley. He loved to feed his family and friends. Daniel never knew a stranger, he was the first to defend anyone who needed help. He liked to work-out, boxing and listen to his favorite jams.
Daniel is survived by son, Jessie Ray and grandson, Romeo Ray. Parents, Samuel and Romona Campos, He is also survived by sisters and brothers, Esther Ruiz (Julio), Sarah Cantu (Adrian), Abel Campos (Angie), Beatrice Montelongo (Thomas), Ramon Campos (Brezzi), Eliseo Campos, Mary Ruiz (Toribio). Special brother Tony Aguilar, sister-in-laws, Cecelia Campos and Alicia Dones, several wonderful nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his oldest brother, Samuel (Sammy) Campos.
Viewing and visitation will be Friday, April 26, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, WA. Funeral church services will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 9:00 am at the Iglesia Del Valle, 308 E. Toppenish Ave., Toppenish, WA. Burial will follow at the Elmwood Cemetery in Toppenish.
