Dennis "Denny" Lee Morrow

Dennis “Denny” Lee Morrow, age 66,  passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 in Grandview, WA.  He was born on August 24, 1956 in Sunnyside, WA. the son of Joann (Leonard) and Arnold Lee Morrow.   Denny received his education in Sunnyside and graduated with the Class of 1974.   He was a truck driver and could drive a truck ever since his feet could reach the peddles.  Denny was also a gifted diesel mechanic.   His hobbies included moto-cross, Harley’s and  painting.  He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs Football Fan, loved watching Nascar, Big Foot, being in nature and fishing. He also spent many hours watching his hummingbird feeders.  Denny loved music and played guitar and bass.  He was a devout Christian and proud to be a member of the Miami Tribe of Oklahoma. 

Denny is survived by children Edward Dean Morrow Sr. (Priscilla) of Prosser, WA.  Amanda Lynn Faker (Joel) of Puyallup, WA and Andrew Joseph Lee Morrow  of Grandview, WA.  He is also survived by nine grandchildren, siblings Tammy Dowd, Lori Charvet, Ron “Buck”  Morrow,  Jessica Kellogg, Rindy Morrow and Cody Morrow. He is preceded in death by his father Arnold Lee Morrow,  his grandpa and grandma Morrow, grandma and grandpa Leonard.  In-laws Emil and Josie Lee Allec.  Brother-in-law Frank Allec, Bob Charvet, Larry Dowd and very special bonus daughter Jessica Russell Lopez.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, Sunnyside, WA. Those wishing to sign Denny’s online memorial book may do so at www.funeralhomesmith.com   Smith Funeral Home is in care of arrangements.
