Donald “Donnie” Lee Middleton Jr.
(August 14, 1955 - November 16, 2024)
Our father, grandfather, uncle, brother and friend, Donald Lee Middleton Jr., age 69, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2024 in Vancouver, WA. Donnie was born on August 14, 1955 in Toppenish, WA the son of Donald Sr. and Lois (Zyph) Middleton. He received his education from Granger High School where he excelled as a football tailback. Years later, he had two sons and worked for many years as a police officer. He also spent many years as a security officer for numerous businesses. He was a huge sports fan and rooted for the GreenBay Packers as well as the Cincinnati Reds. Donnie moved to Woodland, WA in 2018 to be closer to his youngest grandson, where he spent the remainder of his life. He is preceded in death by his father, mother and younger brother Daryl. He is survived by his two sons, Derrick Middleton (Jennifer) of San Antonio, Texas and David Middleton (Cathy) of Moxee. Nine grandchildren, Baylee, Jack, Makayla, Andre, Miles, Branson, Emma, Madison and Olivia. He is also survived by his three sisters, Diana Rick (Mike) of Goldendale, Donetta Derrey (Mike) of Moxee and Debbie Anderson (Randy) of Granger, as well as numerous nephews and nieces. A small memorial service will be held on January 4th, 2025 in Woodland for those who knew him in that area. A celebration of life for his family and friends will be held sometime in June of 2025 in the Granger area, details will be posted sooner to the date.
