Donald "Donnie" Lavern Tolman

Donald Lavern Tolman    March 1, 1952 – November 2, 2023

On November 2, 2023, Don Tolman passed away peacefully at home with his loving family by his side. Don moved to Sunnyside, WA in his Junior year of high school, graduating from Sunnyside High School with the class of 1971. Don married Terry (Smith) of Yam Hill Oregon on September 15, 1973. Don’s favorite pastime was playing cards with his family and friends. Don was a jokester who loved to tell stories. Don also loved to spend time in the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and camping. Don is survived by his loving wife, Terry, of 50 years, one child, Jason (Bobbi) Tolman of Grandview, WA, and 2 granddaughters Kylie and Jenna Tolman. Brother Stan Tolman of Lone Pine Montana, two sisters Laura Roberts of Sullivan Indiana, and Virginia (Ron) Phipps of Mill City, Oregon. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside Inurnment Service will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Terrace Heights Memorial Park in Yakima, WA.  In Lieu of flowers those wishing to honor Don's memory, may contribute to Sun Terrace Prosser (craft projects). 2131 Wine Country Road, Prosser WA 99350.   Those wishing to sign Donnie's online memorial guest book may do so at www.funeralhomesmith.com   Smith Funeral Home is in care of arrangements.
