Douglas Eugene Van Corbach

February 7, 1959 - December 28, 2024 - Douglas Eugene Van Corbach succumbed to his battle with cancer surrounded by members of his family on December 28, 2024.  Doug grew up in Grandview, Washington where he graduated high school and subsequently attended Perry Technical Institute with a certificate in Home Appliance Repair.  After graduation Doug worked for several years as an Appliance Technician in Sunnyside, Washington and then eventually moved to Canby. 

In Canby, Doug worked at the Appliance Renewal Center in Canby as an Appliance Repair Technician for over 29 years.  Doug then went to work as a maintenance technician at Hope Retirement Village for the final years of his career. 

Doug was preceded in death by his father Joe Van Corbach and is survived by his mother Harriett Van Corbach, and siblings Paul, Cheryl, Jerry, Michael, and Daniel.

Doug was a founding member of the Christ Community Church of Tualatin.  A memorial service will be held there for him on January 11, 2025 at 1:00PM.
