Dwight Flory passed on December 8, 2025 at the age of 71 after a short battle with cancer. He was born in Prosser on July 11, 1954 to Grant and June Flory and joined 2 older siblings, brother Mike and sister Marlys. Dwight grew up in Prosser, Seattle and Ocean Shores and eventually ended up in an old schoolhouse in Paterson WA with his brother and numerous friends who all worked in the area. While working at St. Michelle Winery, Dwight met Ronda Eucker and together they had 3 children, Joshua (44), Chris (40) and Shayla (39). Their children grew up in Prosser and over the years Dwight was a scout leader for the Boy Scouts and also acted as a Grid Kids assistant coach.
Dwight was an electrician and worked for All Valley Electric and also a number of area wineries throughout his career. He kind of became known as a jack of all trades and master of many. In his retirement years he was able to spend much time with his only granddaughter, Artemis McClure (9) and the two were good buddies and had lots of adventures together. Dwight was an avid fan of rock and roll music and had a huge music collection and attended more concerts over the years than we could possibly count.
Dwight was preceded in death by his parents, Grant & June, brother, Mike Flory, nephew, Jeff Harbor, brother in law, Mike Mitchell. He is survived by his children, Josh Flory, Chris Flory, Shayla McClure, granddaughter Artemis McClure, sister Marlys Mitchell and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life is planned in Dwight's memory on May 17, 2026 at the Pasco Columbia Grange Hall, 6300 W Court St, #64 in Pasco, WA.
