Edelmira Huitron Lopez

Edelmira H. Lopez, age 78, loving mom, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend passed away on Friday, August 18, 2023 at her home in Grandview, WA  She was born on January 22, 1945 in Aguililla, Michoacan, Mexico the daughter of Guadalupe Lopez Martinez and Luis Huitron Fuentez.  She enjoyed cooking for family and friends. She also spent many hours crocheting tablecloths and doilies.  Edelmira loved going to church and spending time in prayer. 

Edelmira is survived by her sons, Roy, Augustine, Jesus, Sacramento, daughters Bertha, and Arascil, twenty-four grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her husband Sacramento and two sons Jaime and Julio. 

Viewing and visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home, Grandview, WA.  Mass of Chrisitan Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Grandview, WA.  Burial will follow at the Grandview Cemetery.  Those wishing to sign Edelmira’s online memorial book may do so at www.funeralhomesmith.com    Smith Funeral Home is in care of arrangements.
