Edith M. Kelly

Edith Marie Kelly, age 87, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2025 at Kadlec Hospital in Richland, WA surrounded by her children.

Edith was born November 26, 1937 in Lawrence County, Missouri, where she spent her early years and received her education.

Her family moved to Mabton, WA, where she met and married her husband of 50 years, Harold Raymond Kelly on December 31, 1953.

Harold and Edith spent the  majority of their life together in Glenwood, WA and Prosser, WA.  After the death of her husband Harold in 2004, Edith lived in Prosser and the last two years of her life at Parkview Estates in Kennewick, WA. She was a homemaker and worked at Twin City Foods for 10 years.

Edith enjoyed playing bingo, going to the Casino and traveling.  Her travels included cruises to Alaska, and Hawaii, and traveled to Spain, Italy, and Cabo San Lucas.

Edith is survived by her three children, Harold Raymond Kelly, Jr., Debra Cloud, Pamela Miller, her daughter-in-law Denise Kelly, son-in-law Sky Miller, sister Pauline Ledgerwood and her husband Lowell. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents and seven siblings.  She was also preceded in death by two of her children, Denise Marley, Jay Kelly and son-in-law Tom Cloud.

Viewing and visitation will be held on Sunday, November 30, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Monday, December 1, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, WA.   Graveside Service will be held on Monday, December 1, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the Lower Valley Memorial Gardens, Sunnyside, WA.    Those wishing to sign Edith's online memorial book may do so at www.funeralhomsmith.com Smith Funeral Home is in care of arrangements.
