Emma Sandoval, 66, of Prosser, WA went to be with her Lord & Savior on July 15, 2025 at Sunnyside Community Hospital. She was born in Sunnyside, WA to Pedro and Simona Sandoval. Emma was a devoted LDS member who was heavily involved in volunteering and educating the upcoming children of the LDS community. She spent her formative years in Utah at BYU and made many connections while there. Emma also spent time in Tuba City, Arizona doing mission work. Emma was constantly giving back to her community and serving in any way she could. She retired from the YVC campus in Grandview, WA. Emma was always baking, cooking and an amazing “violinist”. She was well known for her famous dishes such as salsa, bean dip, snickerdoodle, Oreo cookies, pistachio salad and last but not least her champagne salad; and she was quick to bribe you with these items. Emma was family oriented and introduced many games like “Hand & Foot” and “Chicken” to all her loved ones with her own twist of course. She is survived by siblings Felipe Sandoval, of Texas, Fidel Sandoval, of Mattawa, Audelia E. Villanueva (Fidencio), of Grandview, Jose Jesus Sandoval (Gloria), of Idaho. Emma is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, many close friends who she considered family and the members of LDS community. She is preceded in death by her parents Pedro and Simona Sandoval, and siblings Celestino Sandoval, Sulema Sandoval, Pedro P Sandoval Jr., Guadalupe Sandoval, Enedelia Sandoval, Alejo Sandoval, Eva Sandoval, Alicia Sandoval, San Juana Sandoval and Jose Sandoval.
