Estela Hernandez Vizguerra

Estela Hernandez Vizguerra, 58, of Sunnyside, WA went to be with her Lord and Saviour on April 2nd, 2022, while surrounded by family and loved ones.

She was born December 4th, 1963, in Guanajuato, Mexico. She moved to Washington in the early 80’s where she bravely began a new life without her family who remained in Mexico. Estela married her lifelong partner Eli Gonzales on March 19th, 2018.

Her many joys included gardening, cooking for her family, and spending time with close friends. She loved being surrounded by her grandchildren who were her world. They brought her the most joy in life. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alfonso Vizguerra Cotrez, Maria de Jesus Hernandez Contreras, her first husband, Estaquio, daughter Idania, and grandson Audré.

She is survived by her husband, Ely Gonzales, her siblings: Martha, Alfonso, Norma, Hector, Ernesto, children: Ernesto Ramos, Esmeralda Ramos, Delia Ramos, Judith Myers, Karina Ramos, Ely Gonzales Jr, Lidia Gonzales, Roberto Gonzales, Natalia Gonzales and her beloved grandchildren. Estela will be greatly missed by all those who loved and cherished her.

Viewing and Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2022 from 4:30 p.m.to 8:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, WA.   Funeral service will be on Friday, April 8, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, WA with burial to follow at the Outlook Cemetery. Estela Hernández Vizguerra, de 58 años, de Sunnyside, WA fue a estar con su Señor y Salvador el 2 de Abril del 2022 mientras estaba rodeada de su familia y seres queridos.

Nació el 4 de diciembre de 1963 en Guanajuato, México. Se mudó a Washington a principios de los años 80, donde valientemente comenzó una nueva vida sin su familia que permaneció en México. Estela se casó con su pareja de toda la vida Ely Gonzales el 19 de marzo de 2018.

Sus muchas alegrías incluían la jardinería, cocinar para su familia y pasar tiempo con amigos cercanos. Le encantaba estar rodeada de sus nietos que eran su mundo. Le trajeron la mayor alegría de la vida. Le preceden en la muerte sus padres, Alfonso Vizguerra Cotrez, Maria de Jesus Hernandez Contreras, su primer marido, Estaquio, su hija Idania y su nieto Audré.

Le sobreviven su esposo Ely Gonzales, sus hermanos: Martha, Alfonso, Héctor, Ernesto, Norma, y sus hijos: Ernesto Ramos, Esmeralda Ramos, Delia Ramos, Judith Myers, Karina Ramos, Ely Gonzales Jr., Lidia Gonzales, Roberto Gonzales, Natalia Gonzales y sus queridos nietos. Estela será muy extrañada por todos aquellos que la amaron y apreciaron.
