Fernando "Ferny" Esqueda

Fernando “Ferny” Esqueda, age 33, passed away on Saturday, Aug 22, 2020 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.  Fernando was born on March 31, 1987 in Sunnyside, WA the son of Hilda (Leon) and Fernando Delgadillo Esqueda. On November 25, 2008 he married Brenda Casas Ramirez in Yakima, WA.  Fernando loved to play basketball and Xbox. Summertime was his favorite time years, playing family games, watching movies and eating carnie asada.  Most of all he cherished time spent with his family and friends.  He loved to play jokes and make people laugh. Fernando is survived by his wife Brenda Esqueda of Sunnyside, WA. Children Leslie, Seryna, Fernando Jr. and Aiden all of Sunnyside, WA.  He is also survived by his parents, Fernando Delgadillo Esqueda of California and Hilda Leon of Prosser, WA.  Siblings, Jafeth Delgadillo, Connie Delgadillo, Carlos Barron, Antonio Guillen, Veronica Barron, Karla Barron, Gabriela Barron, Juan Fernando Delgadillo, Vanessa Delgadillo, Juana Maria Delgadillo, Edith Delgadillo. Grandparents Consuelo and Enrique Delgadillo of Grandview, WA and Irene Pena of California and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

Viewing and visitation will be held on Monday, August 31, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with recitation of Holy Rosary at 6:00 pm at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sunnyside, WA.  Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at 10:00 am at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sunnyside, WA.  with burial to follow at the Lower Valley Memorial Gardens in Sunnyside, WA.  Those wishing to sign Fernando’s online memorial book may do so at www.funeralhomesmith.com   Smith Funeral Home is in care of arrangements
