Francisco Ledesma

Francisco Ledesma, age 95, went to be in the arms of his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, October 30, 2024.  Francisco was born on May 11, 1929 in Edinburg, TX the son of Guillerma (Rios) and Francisco  Ledesma.   He received his education in Texas.  On March 13, 1948,  in Edinburg, Texas he married the love of his life,  Maria Clara Castilleja

Throughout his working career, Francisco worked for various farmers in the Yakima Valley. 

In his younger years he enjoyed playing the guitar and accordion.  He also enjoyed working in his yard – mowing, weeding, and pruning his trees, while enjoying a beer.  He was a member of the  Catholic Church.   

Francisco is survived by his children,  Lydia Ledesma, Sylvia Ledesma, Ray (Cristina) Ledesma and Mario (Linda) Ledesma Grandchildren,  Yvonne, Michelle, Nick, Anthony, Michael, Nicole, Lauren, and David Great-Grand Children,   Chezeray, Elijah, Aniah, Dakine, Dempsey, and Kapri Great-Great-Grand Child, Emerson.

 He is preceded in Death by his wife, Maria Clara in 2015   Also siblings,  Silvano, Jose, Manuela, Enrique, Fela, Romanita, and Olivia.

 Viewing and Visitation will be held on Monday, November 4, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home, Grandview, WA.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Prosser, WA.  Burial will follow at the East Prosser Cemetery, Prosser, Washington  Those wishing to sign Francisco's online memorial may do so at www.funeralhomesmith.com
