Gary Dee Guy age 74 of Prosser, WA, passed away on Monday, May 31, 2021 in Richland, WA. Gary was born February 15, 1947, in Novinger, MO. The son of Leland and Mildred (Richmond) Guy. Gary graduated from Granger High school in 1965. After high school he served in the United States Air Force from 1966 to 1969.

Gary worked as a Long-Haul Truck Driver for many years. If you asked someone to share a memory it would likely include riding shotgun in his semi or pickup and hitting the open road. He also worked for the Granger School District where he retired.

Gary was a man of faith and had a loving generous heart. He loved his family and said his grandchildren made his heart jump with joy.

Gary is survived by his children: Russ, Ray, Laura, Angel, Katrina and Ernie 15 grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Karen, Sharon, Edward, Robert, Letha and Patricia and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Leland and Mildred Guy, siblings Larry and Ruth.

Viewing and visitation will be held on Monday, June 7, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 (Noon) at the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, WA. Graveside Service with Military Honors will be Monday, June 7, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at the Outlook Cemetery, Outlook, WA. A time of fellowship will follow at Sunnyside Eagles 100 West South Hill Rd.
