Geneva Yager Obituary

Geneva Anna “Jill” Yager (Folden), born August 7, 1944, peacefully passed away July 8, 2026. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, generous heart, and the kindness she shared with others. She was preceded in death by her mother, Geneva Folden; her father, Rev. Walter Folden; and her beloved great-grandson, Finnley Suthard.

She is survived by her loving sisters, Janet Deardorff, Joan VanWyk, and Linda Jelinek; her children, David Yager (Shirley), Daniel Yager, Darren Yager (Heather), and Dana Virnig (Ron); her lifelong devoted friend Sharon Harris; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Jill had a remarkable creative spirit. She loved arts and crafts and found great joy in creating treasures for her family. Musically inclined she could pick up almost any instrument and play a tune with ease.

Jill’s gentle nature, generous heart, and unwavering love for her family will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
