Graciela "Gracie Robles" Zaragoza

Graciela “Gracie Robles” Zaragoza age 64 of Sunnyside, WA died peacefully on September 15, 2022 surrounded by her sisters. Gracie was born September 26, 1957 in Edinburg, Texas to Francisco and Maria Robles. At a young age the family moved to Sunnyside, WA and this is where Gracie made her home and raised her 4 children.  Gracie received her education in Sunnyside. She worked at Price Chopper as a meat wrapper and at Snow and Son and at Andrus and Roberts as the floor lady. She had to retire due to illness. Gracie’s past hobbies included playing bingo and cards with her parents and she loved hanging out with family. She attended St. Joseph Catholic Church in Sunnyside, WA.

Gracie is survived by her children Gilbert Borrego (Malinda), Rogelio Borrego Jr. (Noemi) Glenda Sterling (Mark) and Francisco Samaniego, grandchildren Miranda Borrego, Elyssa Borrego, Gilbert Borrego III, Ely Borrego Kasandra Borrego, Roy Borrego, Cheyanne Sterling and Sean Sterling, Lexany, Isaiah, Deandre, Marie, Victoria, Damon, Alejandro Samaniego. She is also survived by her sisters Dora Garza, Angie Robles Suarez (Francisco), Maria Riojas (Rick), special nieces Yvonne Garza and Debbie Marez Guerrero and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Francisco and Maria Robles, brothers Joe and Abe Robles, sister Gloria Cantu, brothers-in-law Ramiro Garza and Humberto Cantu, sister-in-law Rosa Robles and her special niece Adriana Riojas.

Public visitation will be held Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at 5:00 PM with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Home in Sunnyside, WA.  Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, September 22, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Sunnyside WA.  Those wishing to sign Gracie’s online memorial book may do so at  www.funeralhomesmith.com  Smith Funeral Home is in care of arrangements.
