Hal Colgrove Jr.

Hal Colgrove Jr (Sam), 70, longtime Yakima Valley resident went to be in the arms of his Heavenly Father on Thursday, April 29, 2021.  Hal was born on June 6, 1950 in Topeka, KS the son of Evaline Gillespie and Hal Colgrove Sr.  After his education of only the 8th grade Hal began working.  He began Hal’s Tree Topping Service and Sam’s Produce.  His hobbies were working, collecting rare items, storytelling, sales, and going to auctions.  He never met a stranger and was considered a Master at Bartering.

He is survived by daughter, Catina Couch (Jeff) and son Charlie Colgrove.  He is survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, and sisters.  Hal is preceded in death by his parents and one son, Steven Ray Colgrove.
