Henry "Hank" B. Torres

Henry “Hank”   Becerra Torres, age 73 of Sunnyside, WA went to be in the arms of his Savior  on Sunday, June 30, 2024,  with his beloved wife by his side.  Hank was born on July 26, 1950 in Sunnyside, WA the son of Manuel Silvas and Bartola Becerra.  Hank   received his education in Sunnyside, WA. before earning his GED and completing an apprenticeship course in mechanics while working at Hanford for thirty-five years.  On April 22, 2000, Hank marred the love of his life, Laura Young   in  Sunnyside, WA .    Hank enjoyed fishing, camping with his wife, Laura and working in his shop. 

Hank is survived by his loving wife, Laura of Sunnyside, WA.  Siblings Manuel Silvas (Rose), Eloy Silvas (Shea), Wally Silvas, Teresa Rasmussen (Greg), Ruben Silvas (Polly), Lucia Rice (Bob).  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.  Hank is preceded in death by his parents Manuel and Bartola Silvas and beloved sister-in-law, Deana Silvas.

Graveside inurnment service will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at the Lower Valley Memorial Gardens, Sunnyside, WA.  Those wishing to sign Hank’s online memorial book may do so at www.funeralhomesmith.com   Smith Funeral Home is in care of arrangements.
