Herminia Felan Realme-Esparza
Mom was born on March 14th, 1944 in the City of Allende / State of Coahuila – Mexico to the parents of Miguel Lopez-Realme and Herminia Felan-Realme. She was raised in San Antonio, Texas and she came with her family to work in the Prosser/Sunnyside areas as a young adult where she met Rosendo Obregon Esparza and they married on October 12, 1963 in Sunnyside, WA and made their home there. They had 4 children, Ruby Ann (Wayne) Getsinger of Las Vegas, Nevada, Rosendo Realme-Esparza (Rafaela Atilano), of Prosser, WA, Tammy Lynn Esparza-Cissell, of Bremerton, WA and Rocky Michael Angelo (Chanda) Realme-Esparza, of Prosser, WA.
Mom worked at Highway Fruit Store in Sunnyside, WA for several years where she made many lifelong friends before she went on to work at Twin City Foods, Inc for 26 years before retiring in 2010 and began a lifelong retirement journey of being able to spend time with all her friends and family, living in Prosser, WA, Las Vegas, Nevada and San Antonio at the time of her passing, she did what she dreamt of doing, being the matriarch and solid wall for all her family as that was the most important thing for her along with seeing all her beloved grand-children and great-grandchildren who love her and will miss her tremendously.
Mom became ill on January 3rd and fought hard to the end until God and our Lord asked her to come to heaven on February 8th, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas. She was a devout Catholic and member of Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church in Sunnyside, WA.
Mom is survived by all her children, sister Marina Realme-Cerda of San Antonio, Texas, brothers Raul (Diana) Realme, Alfredo (Maria) Realme from San Antonio, Texas, Manuel (Gloria) Realme of Quincy, WA along with numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great nieces and grand-children and great grandchildren who were the joy of her life and will love her forever.
Mom is preceded in death by her loving parents, Miguel and Herminia Felan-Realme, brother Miguel Jr, Sisters Maria Realme-Leon, Anna Maria Felan-Realme, niece Neraida Realme- Delafuente, nephews Ismael Delafuente, and Robert Delafuente and her husband, Rosendo Obregon Esparza.

Viewing and visitation will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2021 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, WA. with a Graveside Service at 11:00 a.m. at the Lower Valley Memorial Gardens in Sunnyside, WA .
