Jeffrey "Jeff" Galen Freepons

We mourn the loss of Jeffrey (Jeff) Galen Freepons who passed away on December 29, 2025, at the age of 71 in Prosser, Washington.  Jeff was born on April 28, 1954 in Yakima, Washington to Loretta Murchland and Gaylord Freepons. 

Jeff was a hard worker and dedicated.  He spent almost 50 years farming apples and concord grapes.  In his free time, he enjoyed riding horses and motorcycles, working on hot rods, fishing, hunting and listening to great music.  He had a passion for the outdoors and loved spending time with his family and friends.  Jeff will be remembered for his  kind and generous spirit and will be deeply missed by all that knew him.

Jeff is survived by his son, Drew Freepons; daughter, Janelle Freepons; siblings, Connie Coombs, Mike Freepons, Phil Freepons, Alys Means; and grandchildren, Anthony, Alyssa and AJ.
