JENARO R. HERNANDEZ FROM GRANDVIEW, WA, PASSED ON TO JOIN HIS LOVING CHILDREN WHO PRECEED HIM IN DEATH, DAUGHTER EMILIA HERNANDEZ AND SON JAVIER HERNANDEZ, HIS GRANDSON CARLOS A. GONZALEZ, HIS LOVING MOTHER SECUNDINA HERNANDEZ AND FATHER MACARIO HERNANDEZ,  BROTHER JUAN HERNANDEZ,  AND SISTER VALENTINA HERNANDEZ (SANCHEZ).

 JENARO PASSED AWAY FROM HEALTH RELATED COMPLICATIONS ON MAY 18TH 2020. HE WAS BORN OCTOBER 13, 1937 IN THE STATE OF SAN LUIS POTOSI MEXICO, JENARO MIGRATED FROM MEXICO LEGALLY WITH HIS PARENTS AND SIBLINGS IN 1947, ARRIVING TO  WESLACO TEXAS, FOLLOWING THE AGRICULTURE CROPS MOVED TO WASHINGTON STATE IN 1955, WORKING IN AGRICULTURE FOR ROGER HULL, OF SUNNYSIDE, AND RETIRED FROM WYCOFF FARMS AFTER  46 YEARS. AFTER HIS MARRIAGE HE MOVED TO GRANDVIEW, WA WHERE JENARO AND HIS EX-WIFE MARY JANE HERNANDEZ (LOPEZ) BUILT THEIR HOME AND RAISED THEIR FOUR CHILDREN.

 HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS SON ROMAN HERNANDEZ, (MARCY PURDY) OF BICKELTON, WA AND DAUGHTER EVANGELINA HERNANDEZ. (KRISTEN MILLER) FROM MOXEE, WA.

HIS SURVIVING BROTHERS AND SISTERS: ADELINA (BROTHER -IN-LAW ABRAN RAMIREZ) OF MOSES LAKE,WA., ANA (BROTHER-IN-LAW MEADOW RODRIGUEZ) OF SUNNYSIDE, WA., CONNIE (BROTHER-IN-LAW MIGUEL SALDANA) OF SUNNYSIDE, WA, JOE (CHERYL) HERNANDEZ OF YAKIMA, AURELIO HERNANDEZ (LEO) (SISTER-IN LAW NORA) OF GRANDVIEW, WA., VICTOR HERNANDEZ (SISTER-IN-LAW VICKY) OF GRANDVIEW, WA. AND BERTHA (BROTHER-IN-LAW deceased RAMON RAMIREZ) OF TOPPENISH, WA. AND HIS EX-WIFE MARY JANE HERNANDEZ (JANIE LOPEZ) OF TOPPENISH, WA.

 JENARO WAS A LOVING AND CARING FATHER, WHO LOVED HIS CHILDREN DEARLY HIS GRANDCHILDREN, GREATGRANDCHILDREN AND NUMEROUS NEPHEWS AND NIECES. HE ENJOYED WATCHING HIS FAVORITE SPORTS BASEBALL AND BOXING. HE LOVED DOING HIS YARD WORK. ABOVE ALL ELSE, HE WAS ABOUT THE LOVE HE HAD FOR HIS FAMILY. JENARO WAS SPECIAL, KIND, QUITE, FUNNY, AND HUMBLE. HE WAS A GENTLE MAN WITH A GENUINE AND LOVING PERSONALITY.

 THE FAMILY OF JENARO GIVE THANKS TO ALL THOSE WHO HELPED/ASSISTED IN MAKING HIS LAST DAYS AS COMFORTABLE AS POSSIBLE. HE PASSED AWAY AT SUNNYSIDE, WA ASTRIA HOSPITAL WITH HIS DAUGHTER, EVANGELINA (BENJIE) BY HIS SIDE. SPECIAL THANKS TO THE DOCTORS AND NURSES WHO TENDED TO HIM.

 THE FAMILY OF JENARO R. HERNANDEZ, THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS AND THOUGHTFULNESS, WE WOULD LIKE TO GIVE THANKS TO THE PALLBEARERS, JESUS (GORDY) GARZA, DANIEL LOPEZ JR., MICHAEL SALDANA, TRINIDAD LOPEZ, ROYCE VOORHIES, AND JUSTIN REYES AND POSSIBLE FILL IN ADRIAN GARZA.  THANK YOU TO SMITH FUNERAL HOMES FOR THE ARRANGMENTS. 

VIEWING AND VISITATION WILL BE HELD ON TUESDAY, MAY 26, 2020 FROM 3:00 PM TO 6:00 PM AT GRANDVIEW SMITH FUNERAL HOME IN GRANDVIEW, WASHINGTON. GRAVESIDE SERVICES WILL BE HELD ON WEDNESDAY, MAY 27, 2020 AT 11:00 AM AT GRANDVIEW CEMETERY, GRANDVIEW, WASHINGTON.

CEMETARY SERVICES ARE LIMITED TO IMMEDIATE FAMILY MEMBERS DUE TO REGULATIONS IN PLACE AT THIS TIME.
