In Loving Memory of Jesse Scott Hays Espinoza

Jesse Scott “Scotty” Hays Espinoza, age 45, was born August 29, 1979 in Sunnyside, WA And passed away unexpectedly on July 2, 2025 in Saux Rapids, MN.

Jesse loved fishing and spending time with those he loved.  When he was young, he had a passion for bull riding and in 1999 won the title IPRA Rookie of the Year. In 2003 he was the NPRA Final Champion as well as National Bull Riders of America Rookie of the Year.  He will always be remembered for his big smile and even bigger fishing stories!

Jesse is survived by his son Jesse Espinoza, father Jesse Espinoza, sister Shelby Hays Glessing, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother Cindy La Piere Chester.   

His Sudden passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
