John Lucki

John Lucki, age 95, of Mabton, WA passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family.  John was born on September 18, 1928 in Silt, CO to Giacoma and Anna Maria (Marivi) Lucki. John made his home in Silt until he enlisted in the army. After serving time in Korea John return to Washington where met and married Ruth Eidson. John worked for several different agricultural jobs until starting at the Mabton Mill after the birth of their first son, following came a daughter and one more son.

John was a very outgoing and hard-working man.  A devoted father and husband. He loved to hunt, fish, read and tinker in his shop. He especially loved going to the hills with his best buddy Denny.   John is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth, seven brothers and sisters, one granddaughter, Amanda.  He is survived by his children John Lucki (Sherri),  Beth Tobin and Joe Lucki.  Grandchildren Jessica Gonzales, Anna Lucki, Jessica Woodworth, Alex Finkbone. Great grandchildren Destiny Zavala, Desiree Zavala, Ann Cervantes, Mikayla Gonzales, Morghana and Thomas Lucki, Cody and Chris Woodworth and one great great grandson, Levi. He is also survived by his special friend of many years Helen Hollymeyer and caretaker and friend Maria Montiel.
