Obituary

John A.  Taylor Jr., age 76, passed away on  August 19, 2023 to be in the arms of his Savior who created the Out of doors, which John so enjoyed.  John was born on April 3, 1947 in Sunnyside, WA the son of Imogene (Morrison) and John A. Taylor Sr.  He was a self-employed Mason Contractor, who loved fishing, hunting and working with his hands.

John loved his kids, spent time teaching the boys the art and trade of being a Mason, in doing so also became their superhero.  He loved life and was great at putting a smile on everyone’s face. He had a spark and charm that was one of a kind.  He was cherished by all of us and will remain in our heart forever.

John is survived by five children Johnny Taylor, Rodney Taylor, Judy Sapp, Julie Kukas and Rusty Taylor, 13 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

There will be no formal funeral service.  Those wishing to sign John’s online memorial book may do so at www.funeralhomesmith.com   Smith Funeral Home is in care of arrangements.
