Jon Raymond Aguilar

Jon Raymond Aguilar, age 37, of Grandview, WA went to be in the arms of his Heavenly Father on Monday, April 19, 2021.  Jon was born on October 30, 1983 in Sunnyside, WA the son of Elma Aguilar.  Jon received his education in Sunnyside, WA and graduated with the Class of 2002.  On September 12, 2015 he married Anna Mendoza in Prosser, WA.  Following Jon education, he began his working career at AmeriCorps,  department manager for Walmart, meat cutter for Fiesta Foods in Sunnyside and El Mercado in Grandview. He also was a Bus Driver for the Grandview School District. 

Jon enjoyed sports, basketball, baseball, spending time with kids, family friends, big birthday parties, barbecuing with friends and family and last but not least watching daughter Kayla play basketball. 

Jon is survived by his mother, Elma Aguilar of Grandview, WA.  Children Kevin Josiah Mendoza Aguilar and Kamila Angelita Aguilar both of Grandview, WA.  Two brothers Steven Miramontez (partner Jasmin Licea) and Miguel Olvera. He is also survived by nephews Jullian, Noah, Stevie and niece Jessie.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Anna Mendoza, Grandfather Juan Aguilar and Grandmother Maria Angela Losoya.

Viewing and visitation will be held on Thursday, April 22, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home in Sunnyside, WA.  Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m.  on Friday, April 23, 2021 at the Grandview Cemetery.  Those wishing to make donations may call Smith Funeral Home.  If you would like to sign Jon’s online memorial book you may do so at www.funeralhomesmith.com
