Jon Ray Bonewell

Jon Ray Bonewell, age 68, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family.  Jon was born on November 29, 1951 in Toppenish, WA the son of Dona (Little) and Thomas Robert Bonewell.   He graduated from Sunnyside High School and later received a Technical Degree in Mechanics.  On November 29, 1986 he married Rosa E. Medrano in Las Vegas, NV.  Jon served in the United States Army from 1968-1971.    Throughout his working career Jon was a police officer, mechanic and truck driver.     He enjoyed hunting, working on cars, wood working and spending time with his children, grandchildren and other family.

Jon is survived by his loving wife, Rosa E. Bonewell of Mabton, WA, Jon Ray Bonewell Jr., Joyce C. Bonewell, Thomas R. Bonewell (Adilene Chavez) all of Mabton, WA and Reyna I Medrano (Jonathan Orona) of Prosser, WA.  One aunt Darlene Curtiss (Leny).  He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren, seven brothers and four sisters.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas R. Bonewell and Dona L. (Stump), grandparents and numerous aunts, uncles and one grandchild.
