Josefina Flores, 98 years, of Grandview, Washington, was called home to the loving arms of Savior on April 30, 2020. Josefina passed peacefully surrounded by her family. Josefina was born April 7, 1922 in El Cinto, Texas. Josefina was an avid gardener (a real green thumb). Her house was always full of blooms, so much so, that people would stop by and ask to purchase flowers. She enjoyed music, Mariachi music. She loved all those old songs. She was a strong women, who taught her children to be strong also. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Josefina is survived by her living children, Mario Gonzales, Bertha Castellanos de Munoz, both of Mexico, Rudy Flores and spouse, Adelita Flores, Santa Elena Robb and spouse, David Robb, of Grandview, Washington. She is preceeded in death by her daughter, Mary Flores Cruz and her living spouse, Robert Cruz also of Grandview, Washington. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. The Family would like to thank Prosser Memorial Hospital for the superior care they provided for our mother and the entire family during this difficult time.
Viewing and visitation will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home, Grandview, WA. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 4, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Smith Funeral Home, Grandview, WA. Burial will follow at the Grandview Cemetery. Complete obituary and picture forthcoming.
