Juan Miranda

Juan José Miranda was born in Torreón, Coahuila, Mexico on May 27, 1947. He was the second born of what ended up being a family of nine siblings. The family moved frequently due to the work, and he has brothers and sister from Mexico, Texas, California and Oregon. Al his surviving family now reside in Oregon and Washington. Juan, better known as John, is survived by his two children, Juan José Miranda ll and Lydia Parks, 9 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren all residing in Oregon.

John was preceded in death by both parents Jose Nieves and María Socorro Miranda. John is survived by his siblings: Mike Miranda, Frank Miranda, Janie Ramos, Ladislao Miranda, Blanca Alanis, Jerry Miranda, Mary Fernandez and Rachel Ramirez. His count of nephews and nieces is well over 80.

John is most remembered for always offering to help. It did not matter who he helped; in heart, he was simply a Good Samaritan. In Sunnyside, where he last resided, he will be missed.
