Karen Lynn Tobin, age 71 passed away in Spokane, WA on July 31, 2026 to be reunited with her Heavenly Father. She was born on July 23, 1955 to Ervin Graff and Calletta (McGurder) Graff in Toppenish, WA. After graduating from Mabton High School Karen attended Yakima Valley Community College.
On August 6, 1977 she married William Allen Tobin in Grandview, WA. Early in her career Karen worked for U.S. Bank in Sunnyside, WA. For the past thirty years she has worked as a Medical Transcriptionist.
Karen’s children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. She enjoyed watching them achieve in all of their endeavors.
Karen is survived by one son, Craig Tobin (Jenny), children Paige and Will of Spokane, WA. Daughter Michelle Ross (Reagan), children Zackariah and Micah of Sunnyside, WA. Daughter Jennifer Tobin and son Joshua of Tempe, AZ. She is also survived by her brother, Rick Graff. Karen is preceded in death by her husband, William Allen Tobin, parents Calletta and Ervin Graff and sister Sharon Roy.
Viewing and visitation will be held Thursday, August 6, 2026 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, WA with a graveside service to follow at the Mabton Cemetery, Mabton, WA at 10:00 a.m. Those wishing to sign Karen’s online memorial book may do so at www.funeralhomesmith.com Smith Funeral Home is in care of arrangements.
