Our beloved daughter, sister, and aunt Karla Faye Hill, age 60, went to be in the arms of her heavenly Father on Tuesday August 29, 2023 with her family by her side.  Karla was born September 13, 1962 in Prosser, WA the daughter of Shirley (Pettey) and Donald Hill.  She received her education in Pasco, Grandview and Sunnyside, WA.  

Karla loved the Holidays with her family, especially at Christmas and sledding with her siblings and nieces and nephews.  She also enjoyed singing, dancing, playing her guitar and going to the casino.  Karla always greeted those she loved with a smile and a hug.

Karla is survived by her parents Donald and Shirley of Yakima, WA. Siblings Joyce Dalrymple (John) of Sunnyside, WA, Mary Bos (Aaron) of Monroe, WA, Trava Hill (Mike DeLuna) of Yakima, WA, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.  She is preceded in death by her brother Stanton Hill and nephew Christopher Dalrymple.  The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to Multi Care Memorial Hospital E.R. Staff, ICU Critical care staff, and the wonderful team on the 5th floor and a special thank you to nurses Rhonda, Kayli, Bethany, Shirley, Victoria and Emily for your care and  compassion given to our beloved Karla. 

Viewing and visitation will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 8:30 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m at the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, WA .
