Karli Elizabeth Moore, 23, went to be in the arms of her Heavenly Father on Sunday, May 9, 2021. Karli was born on March 10, 1998 in Kennewick, WA the daughter of Kristie Moore and Joe Moore Jr. Before Karli started school, she knew how to read because of the many hours her dad spent teaching her. She went to kindergarten to 2nd grade at Kings Point Christian School in Pasco, WA. Third, fourth and fifth grades at Ruth Livingston Elementary School in Pasco, WA. Ruth Livingston Elementary houses the District’s Spectrum Program for highly capable students. Students in the top 10% from around the District participate in advanced, project-based instruction that challenges and enriches them. Karli was one of the advanced students selected for this program. Karli continued to excel academically as she spent her sixth thru eighth grades Middle School at McLoughlin in Pasco, WA obtaining high school and college credits. She went on to attend Pasco High School and graduated from New Horizon in Pasco, WA. As a small child Karli loved to have her picture taken and had a pose and smile for every occasion. Karli was considered a dog whisperer and shared a special bond with canine companion, Percy Purse. She also enjoyed animals in general, loved music, was talented at Calligraphy, loved reading (she always had a book in her hand), drinking milk shakes and hot chocolate any time of the year. Karli was known for her delicious cakes and apple pies. Her first car was a Blue Six Speed Acura RSX, she purchased from a friend while working at Sonic as a Car Hop which she learned later was a little too much car for her.
Karli is survived by her parents, Kristie Moore, and Joe Moore Jr. (Lisa Vaughn), brother Conrad Moore all of Pasco, WA. Grandparents James and Dolores Baker and Grandmother Kay Moore all of Kennewick, WA. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her Grandfather, Joe Moore.
Viewing and visitation will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, WA.
